What will the weather be like?
Long Island in mid-September will be warm! Plan for mid-70s during the day and mid-60s when the sun has set.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on the lawn. Dinner and dancing will be inside the barn.
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire is requested. Given that we hope a good portion of the event will be outside on the lawn, we recommend chunky heels or sandals over stiletto heels.
Are children invited?
As much as we love your little ones, we kindly request that our ceremony and reception be adults-only. Please reach out if you have extenuating circumstances.
Where should I park?
Jedediah Hawkins Inn should have enough self parking for all of our guests by the left of the inn and to the right of the barn.
Do you have any transportation offered to my hotel?
We booked a school bus to shuttle guests to and from some accommodations before and after our wedding. Please check our shuttle page for more information!
